Paul Brown

BOXING & KICKBOXING

Paul Brown has over 30 years of experience in boxing, kickboxing and Kung Fu. In 1985, Paul was ranked 2nd in the Canadian Light Weight Division as a professional fighter and coached the Twin Dragon Amateur Team in 1999 and 2000. Paul has successfully trained World Welterweight Champion Kickboxer, Paul Biafore, World Middleweight Champion Kickboxer, Rico Tantangelo and North-American Lightweight Champion Kickboxer, Phil Carra. For the last four years, Paul has helped train first-time boxers for their participation in the charitable fundraising boxing event, "The Fight for Independence". On top of personal training for beginner to advanced fighters, Paul offers his unique style of cardio boxing classes at his boxing gym located in downtown Toronto, where people can enjoy the lighter side of boxing and still get a vigorous fighter's workout.

JEREMY SALVADOR

Jeremy brings over 10 years of cumulative martial arts experience to the Paul Brown Boxfit team. He is well-versed and highly skilled in Sanshou / Xanda (Winning 2 Gold Medals in two different weight categories at 2006 Pan Am for Sanshou Games), Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Jeremy has and continues to work and train with some of the Greater Toronto Area's, and arguably Ontario's, finest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai fighters, practitioners and instructors. Although Jeremy is known for his very technical intensive sessions and no nonsense approach, his patience will not only ensure you learn something new, but will have fun doing it. Outside from teaching at Paul Brown Boxfit, Jeremy is an active Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter.

With over twenty five years in Muay Thai, Kru Shawn Cole is an encyclopedia of knowledge and technique. As well as being one of Toronto’s first Muay Thai practitioners, Shawn has trained numerous amateur and professional fighters. He’s also trained extensively in boxing with some of the best in the country.

He works with his clients to not only improve their physical fitness, but also to help them develop mental toughness, resilience, and self-confidence. He quickly became known for his impressive skills and began training other young boxers in the neighborhood. Ryan's talent as a trainer was undeniable, and he soon began working with professional boxers. He has trained some of the best fighters in the world and has led them to numerous championships and titles.Ryan is known for his unique training methods, which focus not only on physical strength but also on mental toughness and discipline. His training sessions are grueling but rewarding, and he pushes his fighters to their limits. Outside of the gym, Ryan is a mentor and role model to many young boxers. He is committed to giving back to his community and has established a program to provide free boxing training to underprivileged youth in Philadelphia. Ryan's dedication to the sport of boxing and his unwavering commitment to his fighters have made him a legend in the world of boxing.
